Tagged!!!

I will post this anyhow... I have been working on it for some time now, since now is July 27th, so ... and this might just be as good as it will get, that is so sad i know, so..... ( maybe i will add to it later)...

The funny thing about this tagging business is that there are sooooo many versions. Now what is also funny, is that i usually read what people write in their answers to there tags, then scroll down to see what else they have posted. Then i saw it... my name... i was tagged. AHHH i never read who they tag, but now my guilt has gotten the better of me and so... here is my TAG.

8 Things I am Passionate About:

1-my family, immediate and extended. I would do anything, drop anything, be anywhere for them, anytime I could.

2- the Gospel, I actually would like to be quite a bit more Passionate about it, but is that not the Goal in general, to continue to grow and develop in the Gospel.

3- Really sad that i can not seem to think of more things i am passionate about. I know there are things i love, and things i have strong opinions on.... but to be passionate, seems like a dedicated cause.... and i don't have many of those.....

8 Books I have Read and Enjoyed:

1- The Harry Potter series. Really enjoyed book 3 and 7.

2- The Twilight series, can't wait for book four.

3- Contact by Carl Segan, really opened my mind.

4- The Book of Mormon (now these are not it order of importance) but i totally need to read more often.

5- Mary Higgens Clark books are fun when you need a quick book to pass the time, just generally predictable, but still fun.

6- I am going to start the Chronicles of Narnia books, and I am pretty sure i will like them.

7- *(wow this is getting hard, probably because I don't read much)*

8 Words or Phrases I say often:

1- oh snap.

2- "hey turbo", "watch it turbo", "your turbo", or any variation...

3-"Use your words", i find this is spoken often to my son, we are working on communication with out throwing fits.

4- "No" .... also in reference to my son. It seems like it comes out of my mouth more than air does sometimes. But I am working on picking my battles.

5- "What up", usually when i answer the phone and it is someone i know.

6- "what the junk", in reference to anything crazy or dumb.

7- "don't make me cranky".
8- "Shut up", "No way", usually in reference to something crazy, outstanding, or unbelievable, I don't tell people to actually Shut up :)

8 things I want to do before I die:

1- get healthy (which is somewhat ironic, if i get healthy, in regards to loosing weight, then i die... what was the point, i was trying to get healthy so i could play with my kids, and run around and play softball again).

2- Travel, I want to see all the old structures around the world, Like in Egypt, and Greece, and England, and South America.

3- I would like to learn how to Snowboard. or any winter in the snow kinda sport.

4- I would love to go scuba diving to see under water cites that have been swallowed by the sea. (even though it would scare the junk out of me.)

5- Visit every Water Park in the USA. (we watched this awesome discovery channel special, and it would be awesome to go to all of them). I can handle water park roller coasters :)

6- Go to Hawaii, and do all the Hawaii things to do there.

7- Make sure my house is clean and organized, now i know i can't always keep it totally clean, but how embarrassing would it be to be up in Heaven and see your family helping clean up your house because you couldn't keep it clean while you were alive :) (odd i know).

8-

8 Things I have learned this past year:

1- That it actually takes a lot of self control not to be a pack rat.

2- That I have some really awesome friends.

3- That things you think you can't live without... You actually CAN, live with out!

4-

Fourth of July Rocks!!!

Happy Fourth of July

I LOVE the Fouth of JULY!!! It truly is my favorite Holiday! Sure it's hot, but I find the heat worth it when I go and watch this......

I will go and sit for hours just so I can get a great seat. The Fireworks are not worth it unless I can feel the
Bang, and Boom, and Pop in my chest. I've got to be close. Ahhh fireworks are just the best.

Our own Personal Heat Wave!

Well a week or so ago, we were able to experience our own Personal Heat Wave. Our air conditioner went out on our home.
At first i just thought i was hot because I'm pregnant. then i went to go look at the Thermostat, and it read 82 degrees! I guess the air hadn't come on for like 4-5 hours before i realized it.
Luckily we are renting, and our owners decided to put a new unit on!!! Yeah!!! but we had to wait a couple days. So we went and camped out in my parents basement for a few days.... in the mean time, we didn't go home for a few days, and i totally forgot about my flowers..... i lost more than half of them.

They got a huge truck Crane over, (which by the way was really cool to watch) then the crane got the old one down,

the new one up,

and it was malfunctioning!!!! So they had to call back the huge Crane, and wait for a new unit, and put it on. I just felt bad for them, but they were saying they are used to the heat, i cant imagine that to be true, but this is all when it was about 107 degrees outside. (might of been a bit cooler than that, it was still only 10am by this point.) But all the while i was there waiting.... the new inside thermostat read 90 degrees,
the the air conditioning guy said, that is probably as high as it reads, and is probably hotter. So for the last hour i spent in my car with the air on. It was a fun little weekend. It took our home about 12 hours to get down to 76 degrees. But we are here and cool and Happy. And my flowers, or what is left of them, are trying to survive.

Summer Daze!

It is just so super hot right now. And we are going swimming at my parents almost everyday. Hyrum has learned to swim, he is taking a breath, and jumping in, and swimming back to the side or stairs. It is just awesome to see his progress.

I saw this fisher price slide at a garage sale down the street, and experimented with it in the back yard. I was excited to find it, it was the slide i had been watching for because it was tall enough to be fun to slide down. OH, it was a total success. Hyrum had a blast, its so funny, this little pool is no where near the size of a normal pool but just as fun to him. I could only take sitting in the heat for just under an hour... Hyrum would have gone forever if I let him.

Desert Breeze Park & My little Fish

I have been feeling like there is nothing to report, but when i really think about it i have lots of little things going on that fly by with out total blogging notice.
This is Hyrum with his neighbor buddies. They really had a great time. It was a small little area, but just enough fun for the little ones.

I brought this helicopter to play with. We won it a Peter Piper. It lasted about 7 times we played with it. I was surprised at how long it lasted :). Hyrum really enjoyed it. Maybe another time when we are feeling crazy, we can drop another 400 tickets on a plastic toy from Peter Piper, to give my son a good time. Right? ! Right!

Last swim season Hyrum really took off towards the end. Swimming to the wall and jumping in to me or jaron. it was awesome. But we have been swimming a few times this season so far and he would not let go of who ever was with him. But this last Saturday was a break through. I think it had to do with the fact that the water was not 68 or 70 but actually 74 or 75 degrees. I think we have our little fish back.

this is actually just after the swim party at my moms, the water was 68. Hench the blue lips. But Hyrum had a blast still splashing around and getting the rings.

I must have a Green Thumb!

This is my little Flower Beds before.... and then....

LOOK at them now!!! I can't wait till they look like flowers not grass, or weeds.

as you can see the brown mess toward the back of the Flower Bed, is the "As seen on TV" Magic Flower Garden Roll - and i think i have one small little sprout from the whole lot. ohhh Magic!
