The Mountians.

Jaron sure loves to go camping, he has been camping since forever (and was one of the things that attracted me to him in our early years...) and our Hyrum boy talks about it any chance he can get, he is following in his daddy's footsteps. Luckily I enjoy camping as well, and i was finally able to go with Jaron and Hyrum (jaron has been taking Hyrum out on little over nighters with a group of friends...) We had a really great time.

I don't have any pics of the camp site and such we hit the trail in the morning as a family in the car. What a bumpy crazy drive. There were times I thought we were going to tip! but jaron reassured me many times that the car had a very low center of gravity and we were fine.... sure/right... is all i kept thinking.
As you can see, Hyrum loved every minute of it and he got to sit shot gun - Mommy kicked it in the back with sweet baby Wyatt. Who fell asleep 10 minutes into the crazy bumpy ride, it was soothing i think. rocked him to sleep. Can you believe that my baby Wyatt is almost 9 months. So crazy!

We searched out some water, which in its self was really fun to get back to. The road in was all kinds of bumpy and hilly. Made for a fun adventure. but the water was nice and the boys Loved it. Wyatt had a blast just sitting in the tiny stream off the large one and splashing around.

Pictures of the 4runner was a successful attempt into a dry river bed. Large drops and huge rocks made me nervous but.... alas... Jar had it covered. He is sure loving this....

I'm sure you will ask your self why i have so many pictures...? Well I couldn't leave any of these sweet faces behind. Last time i went and got their pics taken i couldn't buy the proofs, and i was sad, because i didn't want to have all the pictures or poses but i did want what was at least taken of my babies. So this time I'm picked out my faves.

Wyatt was so wonderful at the shoot. he was smiling all the time.

Behavior Chart

i know there are so many ways to raise a child... i just need some help. When my son turned 3 he decided to not listen. Its not all the time (so i cant be totally consistent) Any suggestions or ideas. Originally i had a behavior chart that had him working on three things. he had 5 chances on each thing he was working on. He would max those chances out with-in the first 40 minutes of the day. So... we go to basic.... start with one Goal/Characteristic... and work our way up to multiple goals.

I thought the emotions chart would help him visualize where he was at. If he can make it every day with out getting to the bottom (SAD) i would reward him. one of 4 things. These were super huge rewards, i think... but would you believe that Hyrum didn't make it but once in 2 weeks to get his reward last time i attempted this. We shall see....
I will keep you posted on how it is working... but feel free to suggest ANYTHING at this point. thanks.

Nothing like a brother!!!

Hyrum 3 years - Wyatt 3 1/2 months

Hyrum 3 years - Wyatt 4 months

Hyrum 3 1/2 years - Wyatt 7 1/2 months

Hyrum 3 1/2 - Wyatt 7 1/2 months
Wyatt was very quit in his crib, then I heard him giggling. So I walked in to check on him. This is what I found. Hyrum climbed in and was making him laugh. Funny kids hu, they are always making me smile!

Hyrum's on two wheels

Jaron decided one evening to take off Hyrum's training wheels. I (sadly) was totally against it due to it making more work for me, having to run behind the bike and hold him up. Jaron kept saying that Hyrum could do it, and that we need to challenge him. Again was not liking the idea. So Jaron removed the training wheels and also the pedals... WHAT, the pedals...? Ya, Jaron had Hyrum coast on the bike, with his feet being able to touch the ground and learned to balance and push his bike. It was super smart of Jaron to do. So for an evening Hyrum road/coasted his bike all around. That following night Jaron put back on the petals and Hyrum was riding his bike and Hasn't looked back.

Originally Hyrum was very hesitant about riding with out training wheels but daddy assured him, and he went for it. Way to go Hyrum. You are growing up way toooooo fast. I love you sweet boy.

Giving is so Fun ta do, ta do, ta do, ta do!

Plus I love making things, specially if they are not for me!

This is a little game I found on Hannah's blog, and it sounded fun, so...

The first 5 people to leave a comment on this post will receive, at some point during the year, a super-duper hand-made decoration or goody from me. What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise!

The catch is that you must participate as well--before you leave your comment here, write up (or copy & paste as I did!) like a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going.

Then come back, let me know you're going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift!Remember that only the first FIVE comments will receive a gift from me, so be quick!

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make or send!
2. It will be done in the next month or so.
3. You will have no clue what it is going to be.
So for those of you who have not already done this go for it! You know you want to!

My Swimming Boys!

This was the First swim of the season. It was with our friends the Jensen's, at View Point, and YES it was a heated pool. Hyrum picked right back up with his swimming and was a fish, and Wyatt just enjoyed every minute.

Oh Shoot!

We went out to the desert to do some shooting. Hyrum loves being with his daddy.

Jaron with his 30-30. It has a big kick. He shot a grapefruit, Yeah, it exploded. It was so funny.

This is Jarons Cousin Neil and his Wife Sarah, they have been in town, and we have had such a great time with them, going out and playing. This is the Jeep they drove and took Hyrum on a little off-roading. To say the least Hyrum was so excited and loved it.

3 year old Photographer ?

What does a three year old boy take pictures of when he takes off with your camera.

Hyrum has done this before and it is pictures of his toys, and upclose pictures of the baby. It is just funny how his little mind works.

He really loves taking pictures of his brother, and he always wants me to do a silly face.

Craft Corner!

Boy have I been busy... and loving it!!!
These Crafts have something in common. They are all Modpodged letters. I am loving working with these right now. I am having a fun time finding new ways to use the modpodge.

Ok...I love doing crafts. Lets just say it! And with all these baby showers and such, I have an excuse to go out and make some more. If it was all for me I wouldn't be able to justify it :)

My Family Sign redone. I lOVE it know.

An "r" i made for baby Ridge's Room.

These are both for a girl's baby's room. I got the idea from the Ribbons and lace store and adapted it.

Sign i made for my sis-in-law. Her colors in her baby boys' room were Primary bold colors.

This "family" sign, i made for my Mother. And Mom loves it.

Then at my sis-in-laws baby shower, i as asked to make another sign that said "all boy". She asked for Brown and Green. I was excited on how it turned out.

HAPPY CRAFTING!!!!
