Hannah Bea's Birth Story

I had a small dinner with some friends and family as a shower, for Hannah, and i was not due for another week. Mom and I had planned to go get our pedicures that weekend. But little did i know that our sweet Hannah was going to make her appearance early :)

I had gone to sleep that Thursday night quite tired, and labored all through the night, the contractions kept waking me up and finally at 6am. So i woke up Jaron to make sure he got off to work on time, and he said "wait, didn't I tell you, i put enough hours in this week, so I have Today off "... I thought to myself, hummm... bet we are having this baby today. So i started to time the contractions...10 minutes apart from 6-7am. Packed my bag (since all my boys were late, i thought i had a good few weeks :) and Jaron and I were off about 9am to the hospital.

BUT i could not leave... Mom and I were planning on doing our pedicures that weekend, so i asked my mom if she would paint my toes... I have had fun pedicures with both my boys... and since she was coming early, i had yucky toes. So my dear mother sat and gave me a quick brush of sparkly pink.... it made me feel much better. I love you mom!!!

Well as we go in to the hospital to check in...my worry are that they will send me home, because i'm not far enough along... Well we were fine, I was at a 4 when we were admitted. Yeah. In our Room about 10:30 and the Epidural at 12pm. Why are epidurals so wonderful and wonderfully uncomfortable to get... man, but are they worth it!

Once the epidural came i was a happy mom! the epidural was so effective my legs this go round were like rocks (or boulders more like). couldn't even move them a bit. My nurse was so awesome. Really supportive and friendly. It was Jaron and I (and in the end a bunch of Medical students) in the Room.

The Nurse told me that the doctor was going to come in and break my water at 4:30 and just a minute or so before the doctor came in my water broke on it's own. The Doc walked in ...I told him i think my water just broke, he said "yup it did, and your baby is ready" So he quickly threw on his doctor gown and gloves and such... and 3 big pushes and 5 minutes are HANNAH was out. it was awesome. Born at 4:30 when i first saw her, she looked almost just like my Wyatt, it made me giggle. But Miss Hannah Bea had sooooo much JET BLACK hair. She was such a sweet happy little baby girl.

So from the time of her wonderful delivery, to even now,
she has been such a dream of a baby. She is my very own
Hannah from Heaven.

The boys are just in love with her.

Our Official Family of 5.

Heading home from the hospital, all cute and girly!

Newborn babies in the home, bring their own bit
of heaven, i feel so close to my Heavenly Father
these last few months. The sweet wonderful
innocence that children bring. I am sooo grateful
for the opportunity i have been giving to raise
a family... it's a challenge but worth it!!!
Thank you dear sweet Hannah Bea for coming
to our family. You are Loved!

Pink will be a New Color for US...!

If you haven't heard through some other way...
we are having a girl... Due May 21st. So excited.

This Family of ours will now start integrating pink into the color scheme of things. Hyrum is really excited and talks about how wonderful of a brother he is going to be to his
new little baby sister.... And every baby he sees, he asks me "is that how little my sister is going to be..?" I tell him even smaller... that puts a look of wonder on his face, thinking that
a baby can come even smaller than the one he has just seen. it has been really fun getting ready for her to come. I have been feeling super great, just tired here and there.

I know you haven't heard from us... (me) in tooooo long. Things have been weird and rough and not blog worthy, but we are moving through them and have survived it...and will survive
things to come. Jaron's Job has been kinda slow, money has been ultra tight, and Hyrum has been a handful. But like i said there is LIGHT at the end of this tunnel. Hyrum has been Tons
better, making so much effort in his behavior and that cheers all
of us up more than anything. Wyatt has been a JOY from day one. He is loving being with his
brother Hyrum and does everything... i mean everything he does. Wyatt has about 6 words officially. And amazes us daily with how much he really does understand. He keeps us Sane.

Well till next post :)

The Mountians.

Jaron sure loves to go camping, he has been camping since forever (and was one of the things that attracted me to him in our early years...) and our Hyrum boy talks about it any chance he can get, he is following in his daddy's footsteps. Luckily I enjoy camping as well, and i was finally able to go with Jaron and Hyrum (jaron has been taking Hyrum out on little over nighters with a group of friends...) We had a really great time.

I don't have any pics of the camp site and such we hit the trail in the morning as a family in the car. What a bumpy crazy drive. There were times I thought we were going to tip! but jaron reassured me many times that the car had a very low center of gravity and we were fine.... sure/right... is all i kept thinking.
As you can see, Hyrum loved every minute of it and he got to sit shot gun - Mommy kicked it in the back with sweet baby Wyatt. Who fell asleep 10 minutes into the crazy bumpy ride, it was soothing i think. rocked him to sleep. Can you believe that my baby Wyatt is almost 9 months. So crazy!

We searched out some water, which in its self was really fun to get back to. The road in was all kinds of bumpy and hilly. Made for a fun adventure. but the water was nice and the boys Loved it. Wyatt had a blast just sitting in the tiny stream off the large one and splashing around.

Pictures of the 4runner was a successful attempt into a dry river bed. Large drops and huge rocks made me nervous but.... alas... Jar had it covered. He is sure loving this....

Wyatt Speakman 7 Months and 3 weeks

I'm sure you will ask your self why i have so many pictures...? Well I couldn't leave any of these sweet faces behind. Last time i went and got their pics taken i couldn't buy the proofs, and i was sad, because i didn't want to have all the pictures or poses but i did want what was at least taken of my babies. So this time I'm picked out my faves.

Wyatt was so wonderful at the shoot. he was smiling all the time.

could this sweet baby be any more Delicious!!
