Wyatt Trejo Speakman

He is here... in his own due... ha ha ha... due.... in his own due time. Everything was great. We went in Sunday, morning, and he was born that evening at 8:00pm on the dot, on August 24th .

Weighing in at 9 lbs and 15 oz, and being 21 inches long, this beautiful baby, who by the nurses report is huge.... is still the littlest bundle to me. He is such a good baby, and Hyrum could not be more excited.

If anyone was curious... i did not have a C-section, my body went into labor on its own, so i didn't have to be induced, and everything just seemed to go sooooo smoothly. The doctor was patient and the nurses were patient with me any my body, and they let it do the work. All in all it was awesome experience.... And when i say awesome, I mean in comparison to a c-section. Totally would go this route again.

Thank you to all who have been ulta helpful, and kind. Thank you for your thoughts and Prayers i know that the Lords hand was with us the whole way. I continued to see blessing after blessing as i was in the hospital. So thank you. and love to you all.

Nope No Baby yet!

Well I am hoping that by posting my pregnant picture.... it will get something started. No we have not had our baby yet, and it is looking to go past the due date too. Wednesday August 20th is the due date, but my body is not doing anything to move this process along. Sadly I am actually feeling really good and I can still walk around. The baby hasn't dropped and again, not much going on. I have an appointment on Wednesday... my due date... to talk options of possible scheduled C-section. That i am bummed about. But that is life. Well I will keep you posted!!! Wish us luck!!!

Hyrum's 3rd Birthday Party

Hyrum really loved his party that we had. He loved having all of his little friends and family around to share it with. I asked Hyrum like a month before his birthday what kind of Cake he would like, and he answered... A Train. Well I have to say that I successfully pulled it off. I'm also sad to say,I don't know how I will top this next year... maybe i will have to buy one :).

I just went online and found a bunch of train cake pictures and took different ideas from each one. I bought a bunch of candy, but wasn't sure how to use it, that is where my genius of a Mother came in. Two minds are better than one. Especially at 2am in the morning. Mom was a trooper, it was really fun to make, we had a great time.

Here is the Engine Car

The Coal car and candy car

The Animal Car and the crazy gummy worms on toothpicks car, which we thought kinda looked like balloons :)

Licorice for the track and Oreos for the wheels

Cade and Crew came early so they got to help Hyrum stuff the candy in the Pinata.

They were doing such a good job sharing and taking turns, Look how focused they all are.

The Giraffe pool came back for a second appearance this birthday. Hyrum remembered it and asked for it. Luckily we stored it well and it didn't have any holes in it. The kids really loved it again this year.

Hyrum LOVES breakfast (just like his mommy) so we decided to have pancakes and fruit and juice for food, instead of a BBQ. It really was fun. This is Hyrum with his darling cousin Brookies.

The cake.

Hyrum and his ever so talked about "Parata" (as Hyrum would call it- a mix between Pinata and Purana- due to his Tarzan watching Kick)

Friends and family waiting for their turn on the Pinata.

My little slugger.

Phil and Heathers little slugger ! Cade actually brought the whole Pinata down with his first swing or two. Now it didn't totally break, so we tied it up again around the whole thing and let the kids have a few more smacks at it.

The gathering of the goodies.

Hyrums successful large bag of candy.
The end of the party, everyone has gone home, We are all cleaning up, and Hyrum has pulled the stool over to the cake and... well.... enjoyed the remaining. He was really having a good time, it didn't matter. It was his cake, right :) !!
Happy Birthday my Sweet Boy!!! WE love you!

Happy Birthday Hyrum

Hyrum's Birthday Hair cut. It officially makes him look
like he is 3 years old! I love this little boy, and he
is such a joy and is my total entertainment. Here are a few
pictures thus far.....

Hyrum 1 week old

Hyrum 2 1/2 months

Hyrum 6 1/2 months

Hyrum 1st Birthday

Hyrum 17 months

Hyrum 2 Years and a month

Hyrum 2 years and 9 months

Hyrum, a few weeks shy of 3 years old.
Before the Hair cut.
Hyrum is such a character. He surprises me everyday with the things he says, and the way he interacts with me and those around me. He has so much love for everyone, he just loves to be around people. He loves to play and have fun, and when its nap time... its as if his life is over, and he will never recover, but he always does. He is so perceptive and inquisitive. Asking questions all the time. He hears everything we talk about, even when i think he isn't listening. He will always comment of what me and Jaron are talking about, asking questions. It usually makes Jaron and I laugh. We love this little boy in our life and know that he is a definite blessing in our lives!!!

So we got a new computer!!!

After a while, a 5+ year old computer was really getting to us. So we had a little upgrade. Wahoo. This has been awesome!

but the down side is that some of our programs are not working with this Windows Vista thing. Really bummed. (like my photoshop)...I need to upload my pictures. So once i figure it out. I will have a huge post. Consisting of, My Hyrums 3rd birthday, updates on things around the house, ultra sound pics and such.... look forward to it.

And if you are wondering, I am still totally pregnant. No development there. Just waiting around. But i am feeling great, just been living on these! Literally!
I don't leave home with out these, or I will be in trouble. The tropical are my favorite.

Tagged!!!

I will post this anyhow... I have been working on it for some time now, since now is July 27th, so ... and this might just be as good as it will get, that is so sad i know, so..... ( maybe i will add to it later)...

The funny thing about this tagging business is that there are sooooo many versions. Now what is also funny, is that i usually read what people write in their answers to there tags, then scroll down to see what else they have posted. Then i saw it... my name... i was tagged. AHHH i never read who they tag, but now my guilt has gotten the better of me and so... here is my TAG.

8 Things I am Passionate About:

1-my family, immediate and extended. I would do anything, drop anything, be anywhere for them, anytime I could.

2- the Gospel, I actually would like to be quite a bit more Passionate about it, but is that not the Goal in general, to continue to grow and develop in the Gospel.

3- Really sad that i can not seem to think of more things i am passionate about. I know there are things i love, and things i have strong opinions on.... but to be passionate, seems like a dedicated cause.... and i don't have many of those.....

8 Books I have Read and Enjoyed:

1- The Harry Potter series. Really enjoyed book 3 and 7.

2- The Twilight series, can't wait for book four.

3- Contact by Carl Segan, really opened my mind.

4- The Book of Mormon (now these are not it order of importance) but i totally need to read more often.

5- Mary Higgens Clark books are fun when you need a quick book to pass the time, just generally predictable, but still fun.

6- I am going to start the Chronicles of Narnia books, and I am pretty sure i will like them.

7- *(wow this is getting hard, probably because I don't read much)*

8 Words or Phrases I say often:

1- oh snap.

2- "hey turbo", "watch it turbo", "your turbo", or any variation...

3-"Use your words", i find this is spoken often to my son, we are working on communication with out throwing fits.

4- "No" .... also in reference to my son. It seems like it comes out of my mouth more than air does sometimes. But I am working on picking my battles.

5- "What up", usually when i answer the phone and it is someone i know.

6- "what the junk", in reference to anything crazy or dumb.

7- "don't make me cranky".
8- "Shut up", "No way", usually in reference to something crazy, outstanding, or unbelievable, I don't tell people to actually Shut up :)

8 things I want to do before I die:

1- get healthy (which is somewhat ironic, if i get healthy, in regards to loosing weight, then i die... what was the point, i was trying to get healthy so i could play with my kids, and run around and play softball again).

2- Travel, I want to see all the old structures around the world, Like in Egypt, and Greece, and England, and South America.

3- I would like to learn how to Snowboard. or any winter in the snow kinda sport.

4- I would love to go scuba diving to see under water cites that have been swallowed by the sea. (even though it would scare the junk out of me.)

5- Visit every Water Park in the USA. (we watched this awesome discovery channel special, and it would be awesome to go to all of them). I can handle water park roller coasters :)

6- Go to Hawaii, and do all the Hawaii things to do there.

7- Make sure my house is clean and organized, now i know i can't always keep it totally clean, but how embarrassing would it be to be up in Heaven and see your family helping clean up your house because you couldn't keep it clean while you were alive :) (odd i know).

8-

8 Things I have learned this past year:

1- That it actually takes a lot of self control not to be a pack rat.

2- That I have some really awesome friends.

3- That things you think you can't live without... You actually CAN, live with out!

4-
